How safe is your home? Firefighters are available to inspect your home Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each inspection is approximately 45 minutes.

Please complete and print this Home Fire Safety Checklist prior to firefighters arriving at your home. They will review your answers, look for fire hazards and inspect smoke detectors.

Requests for Home Safety Inspections should be made no more than 30 days in advance. This service is only for Johns Creek residents. If you aren't sure whether you live inside the city limits, please see our Confirm Address page.

Important - Please note!

Your home inspection MUST be confirmed by the JCFD (please verify your contact information, above) before it can be scheduled.

If an emergency arises, the JCFD may have to cancel with possibly very short notice.

All requests submitted after 5 p.m. on Fridays or over the weekend will be addressed on the next business day (Monday, unless it's a City-recognized holiday in which case you will receive a response on Tuesday).
