Help the City of Johns Creek Name Our Newest Park

The community is invited to help the City of Johns Creek name our new park under construction in Town Center, located behind City Hall.

By helping to name the park, our community has the opportunity to share ideas and leave a lasting legacy. Name ideas could include suggestions that reflect our City’s history, celebrate local culture, or honor the natural beauty of the area - be creative!

The 21-acre park, which is currently under construction as part of the Town Center transformation, will feature:  

• 15-foot wide trail surrounding the pond and constructed wetland area
• Terraced seating
• Amphitheater with a deck over the water
• Pedestrian plazas & pond overlooks

This park will create a gathering place for our community. Construction began in August 2024 and is expected to be completed in 2026.

Please Keep In Mind:

• The winning name should be meaningful, relevant, and reflective of the park and the City.
• Names that capture the essence, purpose, or character of our community and the City are more likely to be well-received.
• Any name suggestions which include obscenities, vulgar language, or denigrate individuals, ethnicities, or groups will not be considered.

Name submissions will be accepted through Friday, Nov. 1, 2024. All suggestions will be reviewed by the Recreation & Parks Advisory Committee and presented to City Council, who will select the final name of the park.
